Confidently teach the Sydney Pole Foundations (Beginners), Lyra 1 and Lyra 2 syllabus (from absolute Beginners up to a Beginner-Intermediate Level.

Gain knowledge of anatomical terminology and how principles of alignment and anatomy relate to injury prevention in Lyra.

Gain actual in-class teaching experience (that’s right! You will be co-teaching classes to real Sydney Pole students!)

An ‘Apply First Aid’ qualification from an external provider is also included in the cost of your course.

By applying and paying for the Sydney Pole Teacher Training Program I hereby agree to the following:

1. I am mentally and physically capable of completing the full five day course. I understand that pole can be a physically demanding activity and I will inform my instructor/s immediately of any health concerns or issues I have. I warrant that I am physically fit enough to participate and I have no medical condition which would prevent my full participation in the course.
2. I am aware that my participation in this could result in physical injury and/or may aggravate pre-existing injuries. I understand my physical limitations and am sufficiently self-aware to stop or modify my participation in any activity before I become injured or aggravate a pre-existing injury. I release Sydney Pole and its subsidiaries from any and all liability should I injure myself during this course.
3. This course requires you participant in assessment with paying clients of Sydney Pole Pty Ltd, whom holds a duty of care. This assessment is undertaken in Sydney Pole class services provided on the company’s regular timetable with allows the public to make reservations. I acknowledge that if the course instructors have deemed my current course outcomes as NYC (Not Yet Competent), I will not progress to the live in-course assessment stage as a professional standard must be achievable in this environment for the paying clients.
4. I understand I can return at a later date to complete the assessment within a 12 month period. I understand I have up to 3 attempts at these assessments, subject to availability, and that additional fees apply.
5. Sydney Pole, Sydney Pole staff or agents may take photos/videos of Teacher Training students during the course to be used for promotion of future courses. By booking and paying you consent to the use of your image for this purpose.
6. Payment Terms: The cost of this course is non-refundable, however student places ARE transferable. If you are unable to attend all or part of your course you have two options: (1) Sell your place to another (non-booked) participant; (2) Your payment remains valid for 12 months. You have a 12 month period to finish and pass any incomplete modules. E.g. If you miss Day 3 you can join in Day 3 of another future course at no extra cost.
7. I understand that the successful completion of the course and competent execution of all in-class assessments does not guarantee me a job as a Sydney Pole Instructor.
