So you want to come and try your first class at Sydney Pole!? Awesome! Let's help get you sorted, one step at a time!
1. CHOOSE YOUR STUDIO
First things first - choose which of our studios you'd like to visit! All our studios offer a range of pole technique and dance classes, as well as plenty of flexibility and conditioning classes too! When you grab a Sydney Pole Class Pass or Membership, your classes are valid to use across all our locations.
2. CHOOSE YOUR CLASS
If it's your first class at Sydney Pole, we offer a Free Trial Class to give you the opportunity to try a class with no obligations. There are Free Pole Intro Classes offered at all our studios - these are perfect for Beginners who've never tried pole before. If Aerials is more your jam, you can jump into one of our Aerial Hammock, Lyra or Trapeze classes! If you have pole experience, we also offer Free Pole Assessments to find what level you're poling at within our studio.
3. PREPARING FOR CLASS
Your first class at Sydney Pole is coming up! If you're joining us for a Pole Class make sure you avoid any creams, oils and lotions on your skin the day of class (it makes it difficult to hold on!) We also recommend wearing shorts or leggings that can be rolled up to the thighs. This is to maximise your leg grip on the pole and allow you to try a range of tricks. We generally dance barefoot but you're more than welcome to bring pole heels if you are keen to use them. If you're joining us for an Aerials Class (including Hammock, Lyra, Silks + Trapeze), we recommend wearing leggings, socks and a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt that covers your armpits. This will help to minimise chaffing from the apparatus. Make sure you bring a bottle of water along!
