This class is taught by:

Missy .

Missy started pole dancing in early 2004 and saw it as a perfect way to combine her gymnastics and dance training. She was instantly in love... and bruised. She developed from eager student, to teacher and performer. Missy has competed nationally in Miss Pole Dance Australia in 2009 & 2010 and placed 2nd in the Womens Freestyle Division of the Australian Pole Dance Championships in 2009. Fusing her love of contemporary dance with her imaginative, quirky choreography, Missy has been shattering the strip club stereotype of pole dancing locally, interstate, and internationally.

David .

David Aeon has been performing from a young age. At the age of six he started training in classical ballet with the Israeli Classical Ballet Center. At the age of eight he moved to the United States to live on an ashram in upstate New York. Whilst at the ashram, David practiced yoga and meditation and was taught the traditional South Indian Bharatanatyam style of dance. He continued his yogic training into his teens, becoming a fully qualified Sivananda Yoga instructor at the age of 16 - making him one of the youngest instructors to be qualified. He graduated in Tel-Aviv, Israel, majoring in acting and costume design.

In 2006 David moved to Australia. Whilst in Australia he started training in aerial & circus arts. It was not long before his passion for dance, theatre and performing was rekindled by aerial arts. His aerial training consists of silks, aerial sling, aerial hoop and trapeze.

In 2010 David discovered pole dancing and started combining traditional and Chinese pole with theatrics, classical and contemporary dance.

David has performed and competed both nationally and internationally. His titles include:

• Finalist Mr. Pole Dance 2014

• 1st Runner Up Mr. Pole Dance 2013

• Finalist International Pole Championships 2012 (Hong Kong)

• 2nd Runner up 2011 Men’s Freestyle Asia Pacific Pole Dance Championships

David continues to perform both aerial and pole regularly at various clubs, venues and at festivals across Australia.
