TECHNIQUE 4

This class is taught by:

Bonny Adler

Bonny began pole dancing five years ago and has competed regularly in competitions including Pole Candy and Floorplay, collecting a number of sashes along the way. She loves to combine lavish costumes and excessive dork factor with a rockstar attitude. She believes anyone can become stronger with the magic of body rolls and heel bangs! Her three great loves are her 8" stripper heels, doughnuts, and Star Wars.

Chris .

With a background in strength training and fitness model competition, Blue Phoenix took to the pole in early 2012 and has never looked back. He danced as part of Le Male (Melbourne), and is a member of the Aussie Pole Boys and their show – Voyeur, in Sydney. He has long admired the combination of strength, gymnastics, dance, flexibility and acrobatic aspects of pole, and brings the combination of these to his choreography and classes.

Missy .

Missy started pole dancing in early 2004 and saw it as a perfect way to combine her gymnastics and dance training. She was instantly in love... and bruised. She developed from eager student, to teacher and performer. Missy has competed nationally in Miss Pole Dance Australia in 2009 & 2010 and placed 2nd in the Womens Freestyle Division of the Australian Pole Dance Championships in 2009. Fusing her love of contemporary dance with her imaginative, quirky choreography, Missy has been shattering the strip club stereotype of pole dancing locally, interstate, and internationally.

Oryx .

Oryx is known for her grace and fluidity on the pole. She loves contemporary, lyrical and sensual pole dancing and loves not just performing tricks, but linking everything together into a beautiful routine... although the tricks are awesome too! Her classes are all about gaining body awareness and confidence and making every movement count!
To enter Technique 4 you will need to have completed a term of Technique 3 and be confident with that level's pre-requisites including your straddle on both sides, advanced jamilla, straight leg hang back, outside leg hang, inside leg hang & butterfly.

Core moves learned in Technique 4 include the extended butterfly, aerial straddle and shoulder mount.

Welcome to bruise territory! This is where we learn to really support our bodyweight in addition to some more difficult (and impressive) spins and inverted combos.

WHAT TO WEAR: Regular pole gear is perfect.
