TECHNIQUE 3

This class is taught by:

Missy .

Missy started pole dancing in early 2004 and saw it as a perfect way to combine her gymnastics and dance training. She was instantly in love... and bruised. She developed from eager student, to teacher and performer. Missy has competed nationally in Miss Pole Dance Australia in 2009 & 2010 and placed 2nd in the Womens Freestyle Division of the Australian Pole Dance Championships in 2009. Fusing her love of contemporary dance with her imaginative, quirky choreography, Missy has been shattering the strip club stereotype of pole dancing locally, interstate, and internationally.

Lorna .

Lorna has been pole dancing for three years, and teaching for nearly two years. She has a bachelor of Chiropractic Science and is currently studying her masters, which she feels helps her greatly in pole and stretching techniques, and injury prevention.

Lorna loves performing, but most of all she loves seeing her students thrive and achieve their goals!

Bailey Hart

Bailey started pole dancing in 2006, and has been teaching since 2008. She was previously trained in classical and contemporary dance, and studied a BA of Communications and Theatre Media. Since 2011 Bailey has been competing professionally both nationally and internationally, was the NSW Pole Champion of 2014, and is the current 2015 PoleCandy Professional Champion. She loves being a teacher, not only to help inspire people to do what they thought was impossible, but to create a space for positive body image for both women and men. So if you want to get strong and flexy whilst having loads of laughs, then Bailey is the girl for you!
To enter Technique 3 you will need to have completed a term of Technique 2 and be confident with that level's pre-requisites including your straddle (both sides, controlled and unassisted), outside leg hang and caterpillar.

Core Moves learned in Technique 3 include your inside leg hang, straight leg hang back, advanced jamilla & butterfly.

Things are really starting to get serious now! By the end of Technique 3 you should feel confident with inverting and with a variety of moves from your inside & outside leg hangs.

WHAT TO WEAR: Regular pole wear is perfect.
