Dot loves what pole dancing gives you - strength, flexibility, confidence - and so much more. She loves that pole dance provides a platform to express yourself in so many different ways and that you can be whoever you want to be at Sydney Pole!
Aimee has been pole dancing for 7 years and teaching for 5. She is pole obsessed and is passionate about teaching, building confidence in her students and watching them achieve their goals. Aimee also loves performing and competing, she was the ACT/TAS APC Amateur Champion & 1st runner up at the NSW Pole Championships in 2016, and is also a national finalist at the Australian Pole Dancing Championships.
You will need to have completed a beginners course (at any studio) to commence Technique 1. It is important that you feel confident sitting/standing on the pole and are able to climb the pole whilst spinning.
The core moves learned in Technique 1 are your layout, ankle grab & bat, and cross leg hang back. By the end of the term you will have learned some new spins and combos, and have conditioned your body in order to invert safely & confidently.
